The Victorian Government Trade and Investment Office (VGTI) was established in 1997 by the State Government of Victoria. Located in Dubai, the office today is responsible for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia and the CIS Countries. The office is headed by Kassem Younes as Acting Head of Post. Victoria is regarded as one of Australia’s most dynamic business States and a top investment location in the Asia Pacific. The main focus of the VGTI is to strengthen existing Government to Government relationships and to develop new trade and investment opportunities and links between the State of Victoria and the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, Russia and the CIS Countries.
